Dr. Hopp has training and professional experience as both a clinician and academician. She has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses in physical therapy and biophysics. Dr. Hopp's record of federal and foundation grants, peer-reviewed publications, and peer-reviewed presentations as a faculty member engaged in basic science discovery and clinical application research and as an academic administrator engaged in the scholarship of teaching and learning represents sustained scholarly excellence. Her academic leadership experience has been significant (22 years) and extensive at various hierarchical levels and in different areas of the university. Development of successful partnerships with the community and other institutions of higher education to achieve the college’s and the university’s strategic goals has been one of her leadership focuses.
